Golf at Springbrook Country Club

The 18-hole "Springbrook" course at the Springbrook Country Club facility in de Witt, Iowa features 6,028 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70. As Springbrook is located on the crest of a hill, it can be said that Springbrook Country Club is the pinnacle of golf in Clinton County.

Springbrook golf course opened in 1927 as a 9 Hole course with sand greens. In 1939 the club began the conversion of the greens from sand to grass and the conversion was completed in 1954.  In 1977 watered fairways were added and in 1978 the land was purchased that would become the latter 9 holes of the course.  Springbrook Country Club was completed as an 18 hole course in 2004.
